I’m settling in for a long winter’s nap… 🕯️
From the Sunday Self-Care Chronicles | 12/21/25
As the winter solstice arrives, I’m taking a cue from the season—pausing, turning inward, and creating space before the year ahead.
This final Sunday Self-Care Chronicles of the year holds both tenderness and truth:
✨ Naming the heaviness of the world
✨ Honoring moments of joy as resistance
✨ Offering holiday wishes as I step away to rest and reset before returning in January.

Hello, my friend—you bright light. ✨
Today marks the winter solstice in the northern hemisphere—the shortest day and the longest night of the year. 🕯️
A natural pause point.
A reminder that rest, quiet, and turning inward aren’t indulgent… they’re necessary.
I’m taking that cue.
Over the next two weeks, I’ll be stepping away from client sessions and weekly emails to focus on the behind-the-scenes work that helps me close out 2025 with intention and ease into 2026 feeling grounded, clear, and genuinely excited about what’s ahead.
Fewer appointments.
More spaciousness.
A little strategic hibernation.
And while this season often asks us to be cozy and celebratory, I also want to name what’s real: the world feels heavy right now.
The ongoing violence and hatred, around the world and here at home, is heartbreaking. 💔
Holding grief, fear, and outrage alongside holiday lights and gatherings can feel disorienting or inappropriate.
But I believe—deep in my bones—that choosing moments of joy, connection, and care isn’t ignoring the darkness.
It’s how we resist it.
It’s how we stay afloat.
It’s how we keep our humanity intact.
So wherever you are, and however you’re marking this season—whether you’re wrapping up Hanukkah, celebrating Christmas, putting up the Festivus pole, waiting for Boxing Day, or just getting through December—I’m wishing you warmth, safety, and a few moments that feel like exhaling.
I’ll be back in your inbox on January 11th, rested and ready.
Until then, be gentle with yourself.
The light is already on its way back. 🌒💫
